The gold ore processing plant is located in Mauritania and primarily focuses on reprocessing tailings. The ore has an average grade of 2 grams per ton, and the plant has a daily processing capacity of 800 tons. The gold recovery rate is 94%, resulting in the production of gold ingots with a purity of 99.99%. Rhyther team supplied the EPC service for this project, from mineral processing test, design, manufacture, installation, to training, Rhyter is responsible for the whole plant.
The process starts with the screening of the original ore, followed by two stages of grinding and classification, which achieve a particle size distribution of 90% passing 200 mesh. Subsequently, the material enters the concentration thickener, where it undergoes a process of concentration. After concentration, it enters seven leaching tanks, where leaching and adsorption occur simultaneously. The gold-laden carbon, after adsorption, is then transferred to a high-temperature and high-pressure desorption electrolysis system, where the gold is recovered through electrolysis.
The resulting gold electrolyte solution is then directed to a wet smelting system, where it undergoes further refining to obtain gold ingots with a purity of 99.99%. This wet smelting process ensures the production of highly pure gold.
The gold ore processing plant is equipped with advanced technologies and operates efficiently to maximize gold recovery while maintaining high purity levels. The plant adheres to rigorous quality control measures throughout the entire processing cycle to ensure the production of premium gold ingots.
With its state-of-the-art infrastructure and meticulous processing techniques, this gold ore processing plant in Mauritania stands as a leading facility in the region, contributing to the sustainable mining practices and the production of high-quality gold products.
